Unlock your creativity, engage playfully with the complexities of your internal theatre.
What to Expect:
This is an advance level workshop, suitable for people who have previous experience in working with Bárbara Godoy.
Note: Newcomers with relevant background are welcome to apply.
We will open the day with Dynamic Meditation and you will need suitable clothes for energetic excercise. In the second part of the morning we will work on interpersonal awareness to see the magic between us, this will prepare us for the afternoon session: a modern celebration of the Dionisian rites. Borrowing from the performing arts, the journey will land on the modulation of a creative script, which could summon new possibilities of Being.

Phenomenological Movement Meditation(Inspired by 5-Rhythms)
Energetic Movement Meditation Practice for self-discovery and emotional exploration with Dr. Yaqui Martinez and Bárbara Godoy.
This is a phenomenological existential energetic practice that involves a full embodiment and includes also internal psychological processes and emotions. Each participant has the space to move from impulse and make themselves at home in the enviroment of the group. This practice will bring to life the spirit of playing together while delivering important insight into the nature of relatedness.
This evening is inspired by 5-Rhythms (*)
(*)5 Rhythms is a movement meditation practice, a dance journey of music and movement, developed by Gabrielle Roth, that encourages people to become more concious through dance, exploring different states of being through a sequence of five distinct rhythmic patterns. This sequence is called “the wave” and the five rhythms are: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. It has the purpose to put the body in motion in order to still the mind.
